The market is what it is: It is neither good or bad, and it is supossed to reflect supply and demand. However, you need competitive intelligence to recognize when the market is being manipulated, and in the case of the US and European markets, how certain trends are induced by government action or inaction.

Keep your eye on the market, as it is a reflector as well as a predictor of certain trends.
